This Halloween we went to a Fall Festival at Ryan's school where they boys got to do pumpkin bowling, tossing the bean bags into the pumpkin and ghost, play in the bouncy house, get pictures taken, do a cupcake walk, dig for buried treasure, trick or treat, and lots of other fun things. Later that night we went to our church for our ward trunk or treat. The boys had a blast and got a lot of candy, of course. It was a great Halloween except that the boys got sick on Halloween day but we had our trick or treating done by then so it all worked out.
Ryan and I met in 1999 as freshman at Southern Virginia University where we fell in love. Ryan served a 2 year mission in the Philippines, 2000-2002, while I did one more year at SVU, worked, and waited for him to get home. We were married in April 2003 and moved to Orem, UT where Ryan attended BYU and I worked at America First Credit Union to help put him through school. Four years later we welcomed our little boy into the world. Rafe William Parks was born April 8, 2007. Ryan graduated from BYU August 2007 and we moved to Mtn. Green to live with my parents and save some money for medical school. We moved to Colorado in June 2008 where Ryan is attending Medical School at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is doing Med. School through the Air Force and is a 2nd Lt. I am very proud to have my husband in the military. I have so much respect for those in the military. We bought a condo in Parker, CO and love where we live. We are expecting our second baby boy in July. We are one happy little family.
